Courses I teach at K-State:
AGRON 220
Crop Science
Lecture (3 hr) and Lab (1 hr)
A basic course for majors in agronomy and others interested in crop production. Topics include:

practices used in the culture of grain and forage crops;

crop classification, structure, growth, and improvement;

crop response to environmental factors, soils, and pests; and
-
associated management practices.
AGRON 350
Plant and Seed Identification
Lab (2 hr)
A skill-development course covering identification of crops and weeds by seed and vegetative characteristics.
Many students interested in joining our Crops Team take this course!
AGRON 450
Crops Judging Team
I coach both the fall (Collegiate) and spring (NACTA) crops competition teams.
